1. What We Collect

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

2. How We Use It

Provide and improve courses and the platform
Maintain legally required signature and training records
Enforce license terms (credential-sharing detection)
For Zion employees: report training progress, Scores, and credential status inside Zion's ZRPM system
Communicate about your courses, account, and policy changes

Service providers: LMS hosting (e.g., TalentLMS), payment processors, e-signature platforms, email providers — bound by contract to protect your data
Your employer, if your seat was purchased by your employer (enrollment status, progress, completion — not your personal payment data)
Certification/licensing bodies only at your request (e.g., verifying course completion)
Legal: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect Zion's rights

4. Your Rights (Texas Residents — TDPSA)

You may request to: know what personal data we hold, correct it, delete it (except records we must keep legally, like signature envelopes), obtain a portable copy, or opt out of profiling. Submit requests to privacy@zion.us. We respond within 45 days. If we decline, you may appeal, and if unresolved, contact the Texas Attorney General.

5. Retention

Signature envelopes and training records: retained at least 4 years after your last activity (legal defense, credential verification)
Account data: while your account is active + 2 years
You may request deletion of anything not legally required to be kept

6. Security

Encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, audit logging of signing events. No system is 100% secure; notify us immediately of suspected account compromise.

7. Children

The platform is not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

8. Changes

Material changes will be announced by email or platform notice 15 days before taking effect.
